NAQIA PNG requires all import permits to be applied and paid for online. This requires a membership account. After the account is approved the Importers can then apply for permit per product. Suppliers of products from all foreign countries must also provide QR code on their product label before leaving the point of origin.  

How to Apply for Importer Membership Account

 All PNG Importers require a membership account approved by NAQIA. Follow the steps below to apply for an account. It will take 2-3 working days to screen, process and approve the application. 

1. On this website click Register under the login menu
2. Select Importer for the Member Type and provide all other required information
3. You will have to talk to NAQIA for the TIN Number
4. Click Register to submit your application. An email notification will sent to you.
5. It will take 1-3 working days to provide feedback on the status of your application 

How to Apply for Supplier Membership Account

 NAQIA PNG has now introduced policy to ensure all products imported into the country are approved. All foreign suppliers of all products must include the QR Code for every product. We now have the citizens involved to check the validity of the product by scanning the QR Code. To apply for a supplier member account follow the steps below.   

1. On this website click Register under the login menu
2. Select Supplier for the Member Type and provide all other required information
3. You will have to talk to NAQIA for the TIN Number
4. Click Register to submit your application. An email notification will sent to you.
5. It will take 1-3 working days to provide feedback on the status of your application
